Qu&rsquo;est-ce qui pousse le spectateur \u00e0 assister \u00e0 des pi\u00e8ces qui auraient tout pour les effrayer ?<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm;\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia,'Times New Roman',serif;\">La violence n&rsquo;est pas un spectacle gratuit. Le th\u00e9\u00e2tre peut utiliser cette violence \u00ab \u00e0 des fins plus profondes \u00bb \u2192 fins artistiques ? Philosophiques ?<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm;\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia,'Times New Roman',serif;\"><u>Mobiliser des connaissances :<\/u><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm;\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia,'Times New Roman',serif;\">La trag\u00e9die : s&rsquo;ach\u00e8ve par la mort \u2192 li\u00e9e \u00e0 la violence. Mais violence qui n&rsquo;est pas gratuite. Les pi\u00e8ces tragiques repr\u00e9sentent le combat de l&rsquo;Homme face \u00e0 des forces qui le d\u00e9passent : r\u00e9flexions subtiles sur la condition humaine. Pour Aristote, le but de la trag\u00e9die est la <i>catharsis<\/i> : purgation des passions sombres du spectateur qui ressent horreur et piti\u00e9 pour les personnages \u00e0 la fois coupables et victimes.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm;\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia,'Times New Roman',serif;\">La com\u00e9die : vise \u00e0 faire rire et r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir. Fin heureuse et personnages qui ne sont pas emprunt\u00e9s aux mythes ni \u00e0 l&rsquo;Histoire.<br \/>\nPlus l\u00e9g\u00e8re\u00a0: d\u00e9pourvue de violence\u00a0? Dans <i>Tartuffe <\/i>ou <i>Le Misanthrope<\/i>, Moli\u00e8re peut \u00eatre grave pour peindre les d\u00e9fauts des hommes. Moli\u00e8re qualifie Tartuffe de \u00ab sc\u00e9l\u00e9rat \u00bb. \u2192 Le personnage agit avec une violence sournoise. <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia,'Times New Roman',serif;\">Moli\u00e8re, pr\u00e9face de <i>Tartuffe<\/i> : \u00ab nous avons vu que le th\u00e9\u00e2tre a une grande vertu pour la correction. Les plus beaux traits d&rsquo;une s\u00e9rieuse morale sont moins puissants, le plus souvent, que ceux de la satire ; et rien ne reprend mieux la plupart des hommes que la peinture de leurs d\u00e9fauts. C&rsquo;est une grande atteinte aux vices, que de les exposer \u00e0 la ris\u00e9e de tout le monde. On souffre ais\u00e9ment des r\u00e9pr\u00e9hensions ; mais on ne souffre point la raillerie. En allant voir une trag\u00e9die, chaque<br \/>\nspectateur sait en effet qu&rsquo;il va \u00eatre confront\u00e9 \u00e0 une forme de<br \/>\nviolence, qu&rsquo;elle soit physique, morale ou verbale. Mais alors, pour<br \/>\nquelles raisons se presse-t-on depuis des si\u00e8cles pour assister \u00e0<br \/>\nces pi\u00e8ces\u00a0? Pour mieux comprendre ce qu&rsquo;apporte la violence<br \/>\nsur la sc\u00e8ne du th\u00e9\u00e2tre, nous commencerons par \u00e9tudier cette<br \/>\nforme de fascination qui peut na\u00eetre chez le spectateur. Seulement,<br \/>\ndans un deuxi\u00e8me temps, nous montrerons \u00e9galement que la<br \/>\nrepr\u00e9sentation de la violence vient enrichir la cr\u00e9ation<br \/>\nartistique. Selon Roland Barthes, N\u00e9ron est un \u00ab\u00a0monstre\u00a0\u00bb,<br \/>\nmais monstre intrigant car il d\u00e9laisse peu \u00e0 peu le bien pour<br \/>\nchoisir le mal.
